What is a canvas?

A canvas is the graphical visualization of the map without any overlays, such as menus.

What is a geometry object?

A geometry object is a shape that can be drawn on the canvas. Find the possible shapes in the list of options in the Toolbox menu under Draw. Examples of geometry objects are Point and Single line.

How to save the canvas as an image?

  1. Right-click on the canvas
  2. Select Save image as...
  3. Save the image to the desired location.

How to draw a Point?

  1. Enable the Point option in the Toolbox menu under Draw.
  2. Single left-click on the map.

How to download data of a layer?

  1. Select layer under Layers of area in the Settings panel of the left menu.
  2. Select the corresponding layer in under Layer in the Information panel to the right.
  3. Left-click on Download NetCDF.

How to delimit the area to download of a layer

  1. Select the layer in the Information panel to the right (follow step 1-2 of How to download data of a layer?)
  2. Draw or Select a Box over the the layer.
  3. Left-click on Download NetCDF delimited by Box.
